A Heartfelt Thank You for a Beautiful Gift to Our School Community
We are incredibly blessed to have such talented and dedicated families as part of our Concordia community. A very special thank you goes to one of our amazing parents, Anisha Clay, for creating and sharing the beautifully written and illustrated book, “Our First Teachers, Our First School: A Concordia Journey.”
This heartfelt story is more than just a book—it is a touching testimony to the loving foundation our school provides. Through the eyes of two young students, the book captures the warmth, faith, and joy that define a Concordia education. It reminds us all of the power of nurturing teachers, the importance of early childhood experiences, and the deep sense of connection we share as a school family.

Elementary (K-6)
We offer engaging before and after school care for Cerritos Elementary students, and we warmly welcome children from other schools, provided transportation is available. Conveniently situated right across from Cerritos Elementary, we ensure a safe and secure walk to and from school.
Our program provides a nurturing and supportive environment where children can:

Complete Their Homework: We understand the importance of academic success, which is why our dedicated staff is available to help children with their homework, offering guidance and support to ensure they understand and complete their assignments. We also encourage a focus on reading, providing a quiet space for children to enjoy books and develop strong literacy skills.

Enjoy Nutritious Snacks: We provide healthy and delicious snacks to keep children energized and ready to take on the rest of their day.

Participate in Indoor and Outdoor Play: Physical activity is essential for children’s health and well-being. We offer a variety of games and activities, both indoors and outdoors, to keep kids active, engaged, and having fun.

Pre-Kindergarten / TK
Our 4-year olds
Our graduates receive high praise in their abilities upon entrance to Kindergarten. Unlike many TK programs, our teacher to student ratio is 1:12 or less.
Preschool
Our 3-year olds
We believe children learn best through various forms of play. As children play they are developing the cognitive, socio-emotional and physical skills they will need to take them into a successful adulthood. Students will enhance and refine fine motor skills while learning problem solving skills to expand logical thinking.
Preschool Junior
Our 2.5 year olds
Our youngest students will be provided with appropriate learning opportunities to begin their foundation in education.

Concordia Preschool has been providing students with a rich and diverse learning environment for over 35 years. Our curriculum is brain-based and taught in a developmental way that makes learning fun.
